What would you be doing?

There is real scope to shape the role according to your areas of strength and the business priorities. The group of businesses currently operates under distinct areas of expertise:

1) Specialist Property Finance

2) Finance for Trading Businesses

3) Asset Finance

4) Prestige Car Finance

5) Home Finance and Insurance

As an experienced operator within the Home Finance and Insurance industry, we are looking for a proven individual who has demonstrated capability to become a key member within the team of Case Managers and Finance Brokers.

Whilst the role does not include any regulated mortgage activity (i.e. RMC discussions, advice or recommendations), it is expected that the successful candidate will identify such opportunities and refer these to a regulated colleague.

This role will require you to utilise your expert knowledge to deliver an end-to-end deal execution, working closely with Case Managers and Finance Brokers.

Once you are familiar with our products and processes, you will gradually take on more responsibility, taking ownership for different parts of the business lifecycle by growing your own specialist product knowledge base, and building your own professional network.

Whilst this role will not have any direct reports, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring other members of the team as required, sharing your knowledge and displaying leadership skills.

Typical activities will include:

· Building on your already advanced knowledge of the business’s products and services

· Form strong relationships with clients, lenders and the rest of the team

· Handling new enquiries from potential clients and logging them in the correct way on the company CRM system

· Working closely with the brokers in delivering first class customer service to clients

· Speaking directly to clients and lenders to understand their queries, directing them to the most appropriate person (either within or outside of the business) to provide them with the best solution promptly

· Preparing client quotations and finance agreements using bespoke company software

· Shadowing current brokers and observing their work

· Contribute to the business marketing plan, with regular use of social media outlets

· Manging an active pipeline of loan applications through to completion

· Promote a culture of constant improvement and challenge status quo to help drive positive organisational change

What Do We Need from You?

· Have previous experience in a similar role in the Regulated Mortgages and/or Insurance sector, either as a Case Manager, or Senior Case Manager

· Have a strong desire to learn the business and to quickly develop your skills

· Be driven, keen to develop your skills and actively seek to take on more responsibility

· Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written

· Adopt a consultative approach, being able to quickly identify and solve problems

· Have a strong awareness of the customer journey

· Maintain exceptional standards of customer service at all times

· Proactive thinker, curious thinker and an organised team player

· Have an exceptional eye for detail

· Have strong numeracy/analytical skills

· Employ good time management and possess the ability to plan and prioritise work in a structured way to tight deadlines

· Be naturally interested in business

· Be an experienced user of Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
